📱 Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Vibsite Inc. (“Vibsite”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal data when you access or use our mobile application, website (www.vibsite.com), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws including, but not limited to:
How Vibsite Complies with the CCPA and CPRA (California Privacy Laws)
Vibsite is committed to respecting the privacy rights of California residents and complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These laws provide California residents with enhanced rights over their personal information and apply to businesses that collect, share, or sell the personal data of California users. While Vibsite may not yet meet the thresholds that make CCPA/CPRA compliance mandatory such as exceeding $25 million in revenue, processing the data of over 100,000 California users, or deriving 50% or more of revenue from data sharing—it is our policy to proactively follow best practices in privacy protection and data handling.
Under the CPRA, personal information refers to any information that identifies or could be linked to a California resident. In the context of Vibsite, this includes data such as a user’s name, email address, gender, IP address, device identifiers, quiz answers, and behavioral data like clicks, profile views, and in-app interactions. Additionally, we collect voluntary information such as profile photos and any content users create or submit. Vibsite does not collect or process sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA, such as financial, biometric, or geolocation data, unless explicitly permitted by the user.
To comply with California privacy laws, Vibsite provides clear notice at the point of data collection, explaining what data we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the user's privacy rights. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not monetize user information. If Vibsite's operations evolve to include data monetization or targeted advertising, we will provide a clearly visible “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link as required by law.
California users have several important rights under CCPA/CPRA. These include the right to know what personal data we collect, use, and disclose; the right to access and obtain a copy of their personal data; the right to delete their personal data; the right to correct inaccurate data; and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (if applicable). Users also have the right to be free from discrimination for exercising their privacy rights. Vibsite honors all these rights and allows users to submit requests by emailing admin@vibsite.com or by using us in-app or website contact form. We will respond to verified requests within the legally required timeframe of 45 days.
All data collected by Vibsite is securely stored using trusted platforms like Firebase, and protected with SSL encryption, access restrictions, and internal data protection policies. Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service, and users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time. We do not collect data from users under the age of 15, and any such data will be immediately deleted upon discovery.
In summary, Vibsite complies with the CCPA and CPRA by maintaining transparency in data practices, respecting user rights, refraining from selling data, limiting data collection to what is strictly necessary, and maintaining strong technical safeguards. Even though Vibsite may not yet be legally bound by CCPA/CPRA thresholds, we recognize the importance of privacy and data protection and implement these principles as part of our standard operating practices.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – EU/EEA & UK
Under the GDPR, “personal data” refers to any information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual. In the context of Vibsite, this includes a user’s name, email address, gender, IP address, device identifiers, quiz answers (used for matching compatibility), optional profile photos, and behavioral data such as clicks, interactions, and page views within the app or website.
Vibsite processes personal data based on one or more lawful bases as outlined in Article 6 of the GDPR. Firstly, consent (Article 6.1.a) is obtained where required, such as when users opt in to receive notifications, make their profiles discoverable, or submit quiz responses used for matching. Secondly, we rely on contractual necessity (Article 6.1.b) to create and manage user accounts, enable compatibility features, and deliver the core functionality of the platform. We also process data based on legitimate interests (Article 6.1.f), such as improving app performance, conducting analytics through tools like Firebase, preventing fraud, and ensuring community safety through moderation. Lastly, Vibsite may process data under a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c) where required to comply with laws related to data retention, taxation, or lawful information requests from authorities.
This legal framework ensures that all processing of user data within Vibsite is conducted lawfully, transparently, and with respect for user rights under the GDPR.
Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD)
Vibsite complies with Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), which governs the processing of personal data of individuals located in Brazil. Under the LGPD, “personal data” refers to any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person. For Vibsite, this includes a user’s name, email address, gender, IP address, device identifiers, quiz responses (used for compatibility features), user interactions, and optional profile photos. We process this data based on one or more legal grounds as established by Article 7 of the LGPD, such as the user’s freely given and informed consent, the performance of a contract, the legitimate interest of the controller (e.g., fraud prevention, analytics, and user experience enhancement), and compliance with legal or regulatory obligations. Users are informed at the point of data collection about the purposes of processing, the retention period, and their rights. In accordance with LGPD, Brazilian users have the right to access, correct, delete, anonymize, or port their personal data, as well as withdraw consent at any time. Vibsite ensures that all personal data is processed securely and transparently and only for the specific, legitimate purposes disclosed in this policy. Users can exercise their LGPD rights by contacting us at admin@vibsite.com.
Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)
Vibsite adheres to the principles set forth in Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) when handling the personal information of users located in Canada. Under PIPEDA, “personal information” refers to any information about an identifiable individual, which for Vibsite includes data such as name, email address, gender, device identifiers, IP address, quiz responses, and user activity within the app or website. We collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes that are identified to the user and considered appropriate, including account creation, vibe matching, user engagement analysis, service improvement, and customer support. Vibsite obtains users’ knowledge and informed consent before collecting or using personal information, unless otherwise permitted or required by law. We apply the 10 Fair Information Principles of PIPEDA, which include accountability, limiting collection, safeguarding information, and ensuring user access and accuracy. Canadian users have the right to request access to their personal data, correct inaccuracies, and inquire how their information is used and shared. Vibsite takes reasonable security measures to protect user data and retains it only for as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purposes or comply with legal obligations. Users may exercise their rights or raise privacy-related concerns by contacting us at admin@vibsite.com.
Applicable Privacy and Data Protection Acts (PDPA) in Asia-Pacific Regions
Vibsite respects and complies with the Privacy and Data Protection Acts (PDPA) and related legislation in key AsiaPacific jurisdictions, including Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act, Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and similar regulatory frameworks in countries such as the Philippines, India, and Indonesia. These laws generally require organizations to collect, use, disclose, and retain personal data in a manner that is fair, lawful, and with the individual’s consent. For Vibsite, this includes collecting only essential personal data—such as name, email address, gender, device information, IP address, quiz answers, and in-app interactions—for clearly defined purposes like account management, compatibility matching, analytics, and service enhancement. We ensure that consent is obtained before collecting personal information unless an exception applies under local law, and we offer users clear choices to manage their privacy preferences. In compliance with PDPA obligations, Vibsite provides mechanisms for users in the Asia-Pacific region to access, correct, or withdraw their personal data and consent. We also implement robust security safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. Users from these regions can exercise their privacy rights or contact us with concerns by emailing admin@vibsite.com.

Our services are strictly intended for individuals who are 15 years or older, and we have implemented age-verification measures during the account creation process to ensure compliance. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will immediately delete such information from our systems. Additionally, we encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's online activities and to contact us at admin@vibsite.com if they believe that Vibsite has collected personal data from a minor in violation of COPPA. We remain vigilant in our obligation to provide a safe and compliant digital environment, particularly in regard to age-sensitive content and user interactions.
